Where,d the last two years go ?

Over two years ago i started this blog and it never really happened,i recieved my order from First Corps and wasn,t really impressed,i still love the era though and i have been collecting the Boothill Miniatures Alamo figs,not 1846,but very close.
Now Ged Cronin has announced the start of new 40mm range of figures specifically for the US-Mexico war,i`ve seen examples on Steve Deans painting forum and they look exceptional,the release date is early 2011,so watch this space.

The Beginning

The title says it all really,this is going to be an online record of my attempts to collect and wargame the US-Mexico war of 1846-48 in 28mm scale.The first order from first corps should arrive any day and I will post on my progress when some actually happens.
